What makers and buyers see

When you buy a quilt, the maker receives the shipping details needed to send it. Elsewhere on the site, buyers are shown to makers only by a first name and state, never full contact information. We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by reaching out through contact us. Some records tied to completed orders may be kept as required for tax and accounting.

Terms of use

The marketplace

The Quilter's Closet is a marketplace connecting quilters who make and sell finished quilts with buyers. The maker is the seller of record for each quilt. We review every listing before it goes live; nothing is published automatically.

Buying

Prices and shipping are shown before you pay. Each quilt is one of one. Refunds follow our shipping and returns policy.

Selling

Makers keep the price they set, minus a single commission taken only when a quilt sells. Makers are responsible for describing their work honestly, packing it well, and shipping within their stated window. Listings must be the maker's own finished quilts.

Acceptable use

Do not misrepresent a quilt, infringe others' rights, or use the site to defraud. We may remove listings or accounts that break these terms or harm the community.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the marketplace. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived.
